Donnie Owens

Mr. Donnie Ray Owens, age 53 of Pocahontas, Arkansas, passed away at his home on July 19, 2015. Born October 16, 1961 in Walnut Ridge, Arkansas, he was the son of the late Troy and Faye Alls Owens. Mr. Owens loved to refinish old antiques, raise dogs and spend time with his family and friends. He is survived by six brothers: JW Owens of Hoxie, Arkansas, Troy Owens of Swifton, Arkansas, Bradley Owens of Bono, Arkansas, Tony Owens of Swifton, Arkansas, Terry Owens of Alicia, Arkansas and Scotty Owens of Walnut Ridge, Arkansas; three sisters: Betty Lee of Walnut Ridge, Arkansas, Martha Marchinkewicc of Grand Rapids, Michigan and Alice Owens of Pocahontas, Arkansas. Mr. Owens also leaves a host of nieces, nephews and friends.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister: Jennie Mercuer and a brother: David Owens. A memorial service will be held July 25, 2015 at 11:00am at the New Hope Community Church at 202 Ada Street Swifton, Arkansas with Rev Troy Owens, Jr. officiating.
