Melva Sue Carnal

Mrs. Melva Sue Carnal, 80, a long-time resident of Senath, Missouri passed away on July 4, 2013 at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro, Arkansas. Mrs. Carnal was born on July 8, 1932 in Leachville, Arkansas to the late Fred and Hilda Ursery Dodd. Mrs. Carnal was a member of the First Baptist Church in Senath, Missouri and enjoyed attending to the nursery children and loved spending time with her family and friends. Survivors include: one son: David Carnal and wife Gail of Senath, Missouri; one daughter: Sandra Denise Landry of Osceola, Arkansas; one brother: Jimmy Dodd and wife Shirley of Paragould, Arkansas; one sister: Brenda Joyce Carter and husband Noble of Lane, Kansas; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; four great great-grandchildren; and a host of other family and friends. Mrs. Carnal was preceded in death by her parents; her husband: David Phillip Carnal; one son; Roger Carnal; three brothers: Billy Dodd, Don Dodd, and Larry Dodd. Funeral services will be held on Monday, July 8, 2013 at 12:00 pm at the First Baptist Church in Senath, Missouri with Rev. Doug Clinton officiating. Interment will follow at McGrew Cemetery under the direction of Faith Funeral Service. The family will receive visitors on Monday at the church from 10:00 am until service time. Pallbearers: Jeff Carnal, Michael Carnal, Branden Carnal, Stephen Landry, Jason Carnal, and Samuel Fleming. Honorary pallbearers: Michael Rogers and Don Jones.
