Ina Maxine Bowser

Mrs. Ina Maxine Bowser, 87, of Paragould, Arkansas, died on Thursday, July 4, 2013 at her home after prolonged illness. Mrs. Bowser was born on October 5, 1925 in Kentucky to the late Asbury and Edna Byrd. Mrs. Bowser was a longtime resident of Rockford, Illinois and attended First General Baptist Church in Machesney Park, Illinois. She enjoyed sewing, gardening, and exercising. Survivors include: one son Robert Bowser and wife Tonya of Marmaduke, Arkansas; four daughters: Karen Robertson of Paragould, Arkansas; Pamela Fisher and husband David of Paragould, Arkansas, Jacqueline McLeod and husband Joey of Rockford, Illinois, and Gladys Noblitt of Paragould, Arkansas; one brother: Edward Byrd of Terre Haute, Indiana; twelve grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and a host of other family and friends. Mrs. Bowser was preceded in death by her parents; her husband: Max Bowser; three sisters: Ann Mullinix, Evelyn Porter, and Maggie Elliott. Visitation will be Saturday, July 6, 2013 from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm at the Unity Baptist Church, Unity Road, Paragould, Arkansas. Family request private disposition under the direction of Faith Funeral Service.
