James Albert Austin

Mr. James Albert Austin, age 79 of Jonesboro, Arkansas, died Thursday, July 5, 2012 at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House. Born January 10, 1933 in Holland, Missouri, he was the son of the late James Alfred and Willie Mae Hatley Austin. Mr. Austin was a member of the First United Pentecostal Church in Jonesboro, Arkansas and enjoyed gospel music. He is survived by two brothers: William Austin and wife Flora of Paragould, Arkansas and Bobby Austin and wife Delores of Leachville, Arkansas. In addition to his parents, Mr. Austin was preceded in death by a sister Ruby Davis. Funeral services will be 1:00PM Saturday, July 7, 2012 at the First United Pentecostal Church in Manila, Arkansas with Rev. Scott Trayler officiating. Burial will follow in the Leachville Cemetery under the direction of Faith Funeral Service of Manila. The family will receive visitors Saturday, July 7, 2012 from 10:00 to 11:00 at the church.
