Peggy Ann McCoy

Mrs. Peggy Ann McCoy, age 81 of Leachville, Arkansas, passed away on Monday, April 17, 2017 at the Flo and Phil Hospice House in Jonesboro, Arkansas. Born December 28, 1935 in Bolivar, Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late Edgar and Nona Vaughan Taylor. Mrs. McCoy was a member of the First Assembly of God in Leachville and enjoyed reading, gardening and spending time with her family. She is survived by one son: Wayne McCoy of Leachville, Arkansas; two daughters: Wanda Rippy and husband Larry of Rock Falls, Illinois and Sheila McCoy of Leachville, Arkansas; one sister: Sue Brewer of Crump, Tennessee. Mrs. McCoy also leaves six grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren and a host of other family and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: Jack McCoy, one daughter: Brenda Pemberton; one granddaughter: Crystal Pemberton; one brother: William Taylor. Funeral services will be Wednesday, April 19, 2017 at 2:00pm at the First Assembly of God in Leachville, Arkansas with Bro. Tom Newman and Bro. B.A. Allen officiating. Burial will follow in the Leachville Cemetery under the direction of Faith Funeral Service of Manila, Arkansas. The family will receive visitors Tuesday, April 18, 2017 from 6:00pm until 8:00pm at the church.
