Effie Mae Williams

Effie Mae Williams, 88, of Jonesboro, Arkansas passed away on Sunday, January 6, 2019 at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House. She was born on June 27, 1930 in Cardwell, Missouri to the late William Alfred and Cloia Tucker Isom. She was a member of the Church of Christ, enjoyed sewing and spending time with her family and friends.Survivors include; one son: Tim Williams of Walnut Ridge, Arkansas; one sister: Ella Williams of Jonesboro, Arkansas; six grandchildren: Davida, Marshall, Sonja, Brandi, Amanda, and Constance Williams; and a host of other family and friends.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by; her husband: Roy Virgil Williams; two sons: Lester Byron Williams and Curtis Scott Williams; two brothers: William Harold Isom and Thomas Eugene Isom; and one sister: Mary Agnes Wallis.Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, January 9, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. at Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery with Allen Ashlock officiating under the direction of Faith Funeral Service.
