Charles Richard McAlister

Charles Richard McAlister, 88 of Paragould, Arkansas passed away January 7, 2019 at Greene Acres Nursing Home. He was born March 26, 1930 in Gideon, Missouri to Van and Alva Fay Hite McAlister. He was a member of the Finch Baptist Church, Paragould, Arkansas enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping, being at the lake, enjoyed traveling, especially, spending three years in Africa. He worked for Muni Railway in San Francisco, California and later retired from driving for MDR in Jonesboro, Arkansas. Survivors include; one son: Charles McAlister of San Francisco, California; three daughters: Terry Ballard of Green Valley, Arizona, Sherrill Sienicki (John)of Green Valley, Arizona and Linda Burns (Gaylon) of Paragould, Arkansas; four grandchildren: Tony (Kim) Beatty, Jim (Tracy) Beatty, Jeff (Tanya) Sobieralski, Jennifer (Fredy) Pena; twenty six great grandchildren; twenty eight great-great grandchildren; one niece: Lori Moore of Plano, Texas, and a host of other family and friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife: Inez McAlister; one grandchild: Connie; one sister: Mary Atkins; one brother: Robert McAlister, and one niece: Robin McAlister. Memorial Services will be Wednesday, January 9, 2019 at 500 p.m. at the Finch Baptist Church with Bro. Marty Ezell officiating under the direction of Faith Funeral Service, Manila, Arkansas.
