Clara Jean Rush

Clara Jean Rush, 75, of Jonesboro, Arkansas passed away on January 10, 2019 at her home. She was born on July 17, 1943 in Nodena, Arkansas to Henry and Lou Ella Medlin. She was a member of Revival Tabernacle Church, enjoyed church reading, spending time with her children and grandchildren. She loved to sing, to clean house, fold clothes (and wouldn’t let no one do that) and her chihuahua Booger.Survivors include; three daughters: Cindy Cassulis (Ted) of Jonesboro, Arkansas, Lou Ella Clover (David) of Trumann, Arkansas, and Regeina Steele of Brookland, Arkansas; one son: Junior Wilbanks (Louise) of Jonesboro, Arkansas; three sisters: Sally Bullough of Blytheville, Arkansas, Shirley Medlin of Lake City, Arkansas, and Gayle Medlin of Jonesboro, Arkansas; fifteen grandchildren, twenty-four great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; many adopted children; and a host of other family and friends.She was preceded in death by; her parents: Henry and Lou Ella Medlin; three sisters: Betty Lively, Margaret Anderson, and Julia Baker; two brothers: Clarence Medlin and Bobby Gene Medlin; and one granddaughter: Amber Sue Wilbanks.Funeral services will be held at Revival Tabernacle Church, Bono, Arkansas on Monday, January 14, 2019 at 12:00 with Brother Dub Holt officiating. Burial will follow at Monette, Arkansas under the direction of Faith Funeral Service. The family will receive visitors on Monday at the church from 11:00 a.m. until service time. Pallbearers: Richard Goss, Johnathon Bamburg, Jaden Beshiers, Anthony Cassulis, Steven Cassulis, Brandon Cassulis, Dustin Blake, and Cody Blake.
