Charles Ray Boatman

Charles Ray Boatman, 73, of Manila, Arkansas passed away on January 13, 2019 at his home. He was born on January 9, 1946 in Denmark, Arkansas to Thurman and Jenny Marie VanWinkle Boatman. He enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, feeding his hogs, and especially spending time with his family.Survivors include; three sons: Thurman Boatman and wife Debra of Manila, Arkansas, Mark Constant and wife Carla of Trumann, Arkansas, and Randy Constant and wife Angie of Columbus, Mississippi; five daughters: Deanna Langston of Monette, Arkansas, Donna Kennedy and husband Dennis of Steele, Missouri, Tappy Decker and husband Robin of Manila, Arkansas, Mary Boatman of Leachville, Arkansas, and Mary Jane Mason and husband Ronald of Waynesboro, Mississippi; four brothers: Larry Boatman and wife Trudy of Bradford, Arkansas, Lonnie Boatman and wife Flora of Caraway, Arkansas, Ardell Boatman and wife Sonya of Lake City, Arkansas, and Odell Boatman and wife Janie of Louisville, Kentucky; four sisters: Irene Ashley and husband Larry of Ash Flat, Arkansas, Chlorine Constant of Lepanto, Arkansas, Ludene Constant of Whitten, Arkansas, and Marie Bressie of Salem, Arkansas; twenty-three grandchildren; forty-eight great-grandchildren and one on the way; and a host of other family and friends.He was preceded in death by; his parents: Thurman and Jenny Marie Boatman; three wives: Erma Constant, Marie Kathryn Boatman, and Martha Ann Carmichael; two sons: William Ray Boatman and Allen Ray Boatman; two brothers: Gene Boatman and Johnny Boatman; and one sister: Katherine VanOven.Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, January 16, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at Faith Funeral Service with Brother Jerry Pentcost officiating. Burial will follow at the Caraway Cemetery under the direction of Faith Funeral Service. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Wednesday from 1:00 p.m. until service time.
