Dessie Bernice Dunn

Mrs. Dessie Bernice Dunn, 71 of Monette, Arkansas passed away Saturday, December 31, 2016 at St. Bernard’s Medical Center, Jonesboro, Arkansas. She was born August 24, 1945 to the late Harm and Sarah Edna Watkins Finley. Mrs. Dunn was a homemaker, attended Lake City First Assembly of God Church, loved spending time with her grandchildren, gardening, fishing and watching wrestling. Survivors include three sons: Robbie (Stephanie) Sarrels of Moore, Oklahoma; John (Amanda) Wilson of Monette, Arkansas; Larry (Jennifer Duncan) Wilson of Monette, Arkansas; four daughters: Brenda (John) Hamilton of Chicago, Illinois; Patsy (David) Haeffner of Norman, Oklahoma; Pamela (CJ) Jones of Dell City, Oklahoma: Lisa (Bill) Austin of Leachville, Arkansas; three sisters: Norma Jean (James Lamar) Green of Monette, Arkansas; Lorene Ritter of Calico rock, Arkansas; Lucille Parker of Texarkana, Arkansas; fourteen grandchildren and five great- grand children.Mrs. Dunn was preceded by her parents; two brothers: J.W. and Floyd Finley; two sisters: Novella Lane and Roberta McFarland.Funeral services will be Tuesday, January 3, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at Lake City First Assembly of God Church, burial to follow in Monette Cemetery. Visitation will be at the church, Monday, January 2, 2016 from 6-8 p.m. Pallbearers: Douglas Edge, Larry Wilson, Michael Wilbanks, Jerry Lamar, Richard Hale, Mike Beaird; Honorary Pallbearer: Heath Grisham.
