Cletis Eddings

Mr. Cletis Pearl Eddings, age 69 of Manila, Arkansas, passed away April 27, 2017 at the St. Bernard’s Regional Medical Center in Jonesboro, Arkansas. Born July 28, 1947 in Manila, he was the son of the late Homer and Rosalee Murphy Eddings and had been a longtime area resident. Mr. Eddings enjoyed was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting, fishing, yardwork, walking and spending time with his grandchildren. He is survived by a step-daughter: Karen Henry of Manila, Arkansas; two brothers: Curtis Eddings of Manila, Arkansas and Burl Eddings of Cherokee Village, Arkansas; three sisters: Norma Jackson of Russellville, Arkansas, Eula McQueen of Houston, Texas and Gloria Eddings of Jacksonville, Arkansas. Mr. Eddings also leaves two grandchildren and a host of other family and friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter: Cheryl Eddings; a son: Marty Eddings; one infant brother and three sisters: Betty McQueen, Hattie Mae Eddings and an infant sister. Funeral services will be May 2, 2017 at 2:00pm at the Faith Funeral Service Chapel in Manila, Arkansas with Bro. White officiating. Burial will follow in the Manila Cemetery with Faith Funeral Service of Manila in charge of arrangements. The family will receive visitors May 2, 2017 from 12:00 until time of service at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Justin Daniels, Bill Stone, Henry Ford, Joe McQueen, Kenneth Vancely and Brian Vancely.
