Ina Ellis

Mrs. Ina Claire Ellis, age 75 of Jonesboro, Arkansas, passed away January 31, 2015 at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro. Born April 19, 1939 in Hayti, Missouri, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Hettie New Garner and was a United States Airforce Veteran. She was a graduate of Wardell High School in Wardell, Missouri and she loved ceramics, baby quilts and other crafts. She is survived by her husband of 39 years: John Ellis of Jonesboro; one daughter: Francine Wikoff of East Windsor, New Jersey; one brother: Henry Garner of Georgia; three sisters: Mary West of Jonesboro, Arkansas and Virginia Farmer of Doniphan, Missouri, and Francis Perren of Winanac, Indiana; two grandchildren: Virginia and Bill; two great-grandchildren and a host of other family and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister: Ollie Garner and one brother: Bernie Garner. The family has requested a private service and disposition under the direction of Faith Funeral Service of Manila, Arkansas.
