William Franklin

Mr. William Eulice Franklin, 61, of Monette, Arkansas died on Tuesday, January 1, 2013 at NEA Baptist Hospital in Jonesboro, Arkansas. Mr. Franklin was born on August 28, 1951 in Jonesboro, Arkansas to the late Rudy and Juanita Franklin. Mr. Franklin was of the Baptist Faith, retired farmer, and played country and gospel music. Survivors include: his wife: Anna Franklin of the home; five sons: William D. Franklin and wife Robin of Harrisburg, Arkansas, Jerry D. Franklin and wife Mary of Poolville, Texas, Christopher D. Franklin and wife Stacey of Harrisburg, Arkansas, Robert Bass and wife Jamie of Manila, Arkansas, and Terry Bass of Piggott, Arkansas; one daughter: Lisa Gross and husband Dewayne of Caraway, Arkansas; one brother: Devern Franklin of Illinois; four sisters: Mary Jarrett of Jonesboro, Arkansas, Louise Smith of Bay, Arkansas, Ruth Griffey of Bono, Arkansas, and Pauline Robbinson of Lawrenceburg, Tennessee; nineteen grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and a host of other family and friends. Mr. Franklin was preceded in death by his parents; one grandson: Jerry Franklin, II; one great granddaughter; Jayley Kay Harper; one sister: Maccie Jarrett. Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 4, 2013 at 2:00 pm at Rivervale Baptist Church with Rev. Ed Gregory officiating. Interment will follow at Caraway Cemetery under the direction of Faith Funeral Service. The family will receive visitors on Friday at the church from 11:00 am until service time.
