Richard C. Skaggs, III, 77, of Jonesboro, Arkansas passed away on Thursday, February 21, 2019 at his home. He was born on November 25, 1941 in Columbus, Mississippi to Richard C. and Lorene Fleming Skaggs. He was a member of the Windover Baptist Church. He enjoyed photography, photo editing, fishing, reading, and spending time with his family. He loved his grandchildren very much. Survivors include; his wife: Martha Skaggs of the home; Richard C. Skaggs, IV (Shelby) of Kingston Springs, Tennessee, Lewis W. Skaggs (Janette) of Coldwater, Mississippi, Lori S. Barber (Joey) of Poplar Grove, Arkansas, and David A. Skaggs (Wendy) of Trumann, Arkansas; one sister Betty S. Bryan of Columbus, Mississippi; fourteen grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a host of other family and friends. He was preceded in death by; his parents: Richard and Lorene Skaggs; and one sister: Linda S. May. The family request private services under the direction of Faith Funeral Service.
