Lucille Franks Ray

Lucille Franks Ray, 88, of Jonesboro, Arkansas passed away on Saturday, February 17, 2018 at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House. She was born on June 6, 1929 in Savanah, Tennessee to the late Elmer and Ethel Pipes Franks. She was a member of the Nettleton Church of Christ, retired as owner/operator of Lucille’s Beauty Shop, enjoyed playing bingo, and spending time with family and friends. Survivors include; one son: William Ray of Jonesboro, Arkansas; one daughter: Cindy Ray Johnson (David) of Walnut Ridge, Arkansas; one sister: Pauline Curtis of Jonesboro, Arkansas; four grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and a host of other family and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by; one son: Robert Ray; and one sister: Gertie Despain. Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, February 20, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at the Tyronza Cemetery under the direction of Faith Funeral Service.
