James "Jimmy" Lamberth

Mr. James “Jimmy” Oscar Lamberth, 88, of Jonesboro, Arkansas passed away on Sunday, April 3, 2016 at Jonesboro Healthcare Center. He was born on July 10, 1927 in Jonesboro, Arkansas to the late J.D. and Velma Barnes Lamberth. He was a member of Trinity Church, a missionary evangelist for the Philippines since 1974, a musician for sixty plus years, and a business man.Survivors include; his wife: Linda Lamberth of the home; two sons: John Lamberth, II (Cindy) of Hot Springs, Arkansas and Blake Lamberth of Jonesboro, Arkansas; two daughters: Teri Goodman of Trumann, Arkansas and Carole Hood of Jonesboro, Arkansas; one brother: Paul Lamberth of Boise, Idaho; fourteen grandchildren; eight gret-grandchildren; and a host of other family and friends.Mr. Lamberth was preceded in death by; his parents; one son: James Kimbly Lamberth; two grandsons; and one granddaughter.Graveside services will be held on Friday, April 8, 2016 at 2:00 pm at Trinity Cemetery, Bono, Arkansas with Pastor Steve Farmer officiating. Interment will follow under the direction of Faith Funeral Service. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to Alzheimer’s research.
