Thomas Jerry Rutter

Thomas Jerry Rutter, 71, of Paragould, AR, passed away on January 8, 2018 at Arkansas Methodist Hospital. T.J. was born in Memphis TN on November 27, 1946 to Floyd and Dorothy Rutter. He lived most of his life in Tennessee, then moved to AR about 15 years ago to be near his daughters and grandchildren. He loved to cook for family and friends and hosted many gatherings. He was an avid sports fan and enjoyed watching old movies. T.J. was a man who loved life and lived it to the fullest. In his time, he had many interesting jobs, some of which took him to faraway places. He made friends wherever he went and was always up for the next adventure. He was always for the underdog and helped many people in his life. He also loved animals. He is survived by his Mother, Dorothy Rutter, of Savannah TN, Brothers, Dallas (Gloria) Rutter, Larry (Liz) Rutter, Stevie (Kitty) Rutter, and David Rutter. Daughters Denise (Mark) Coates, and Debbie Huffman. Grandchildren, Amber (John) Woodward, Kristyn Rutter, Zachary Huffman, Jennifer (Clint) Sorg, Stephanie Davis, and Lindsey Huffman. Great grandchildren Xavier, Keaton, Leilani, Noah, Anneliese, Charity, and Sophia. He was preceded in death by; his father: Floyd W Rutter; his daughter: Bonnie S. Milburn; Stepson: Jeffrey Woodward; and granddaughters: Tiffany Williams, Tori Milburn, and Ashley Rutter. A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
