Cathy Laire

Mrs. Cathy Jean Laire, age 62 of Trumann, Arkansas, went to her eternal home on February 1, 2017. Born March 11, 1954 in Trumann, Arkansas, she was the daughter of the late William and Ethel Brashers Clem. Mrs. Laire loved camping, cooking, attending family reunions and collecting bells and Barbie’s. Mrs. Laire enjoyed music, playing the guitar and singing with her group in her younger years on the radio. She is survived by her husband of 41 years: Franklin Laire of the home; one son: Christopher Laire and fiancé Deanne Osborn of Trumann, Arkansas; two grandsons: Christopher “Speedy” Laire and David “Swifty” Laire both of Trumann, Arkansas; one granddaughter: Samantha Cooper of Trumann, Arkansas; one sister: Claudia Weaver and husband Paul of Jonesboro, Arkansas. Mrs. Laire also leaves a host of other family and friends.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother: Gary Clem.Funeral services will be Wednesday, February 8, 2017 at 1:00pm at the First Assembly of God, 27654 West Main Extended Trumann, Arkansas, 72472 with Bro. David Adams and Bro. Gary Hill officiating. Burial will follow in the Willis Cemetery in Trumann, Arkansas under the direction of Faith Funeral Service of Manila, Arkansas. The family will receive visitors Tuesday, February 7, 2017 from 5:00pm until 9:00pm at the church. Pallbearers will be Charles Laire, Danny Laire, Darrell Laire, Jeff Weaver, Arnold Weaver and George Weaver. Honorary pallbearers will be Charlie Hicks, Tommy Richardson, Scott Weaver, Bryan Dowdy, Paul Weaver, C.J. Laire and Michael Laire. Guest registry at www.faithfuneralservice.net
