Edith Lampkin

Mrs. Edith Lampkin, age 75 of Rector, Arkansas, passed away on February 10, 2017 at the St. Bernard’s Medical Center in Jonesboro, Arkansas. Born May 7, 1941 in Walla Walla, Washington, she was the daughter of the late Perry and Martha Loveless Harris. Mrs. Lampkin was a Christian and enjoyed sewing, reading and spending time with her grandchildren. She is survived by two sons: Jerry Lampkin and wife Sheila of Rector, Arkansas and Mark Lampkin of Rector, Arkansas; one daughter: Sherri Householder and husband Nolen of Rector, Arkansas; one brother: Ernie Harris and wife Manda of Elkhart, Indiana; one sister: Irene Tracy of Rector, Arkansas; nine grandchildren: Melissa Strother of Fulton, Missouri, Elizabeth Cherner of San Diego, California, Jessica Laws of Rector, Arkansas, Rachel Lampkin of Paragould, Arkansas, Isaac Lampkin of Rector, Arkansas, Jacob Lampkin of Rector, Arkansas, Nicholas Householder of Rector, Arkansas, Hannah Householder of Rector, Arkansas and Isabella Householder of Rector, Arkansas; three great grand-children: Tristen Strothers, Trinten Strothers and Titan Strothers. Mrs. Lampkin also leaves a host of other family and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Mr. Donnie Lampkin. Funeral services will be Monday, February 13, 2017 at 1:00pm at the Hargraves Corner Methodist Church with Rev. Bill Ivy officiating. Burial will follow in the Mitchell Cemetery in Greenway, Arkansas with Faith Funeral Service of Manila, Arkansas in charge of services. The family will receive visitors Monday, February 13, 2017 from 11:00 until time of service at the church. Pallbearers will be Nolen Householder, Logan Murray, Asa Laws, Billy Carter, James Banks and John Tracy. There will be a lunch provided after services at the Rector Community Center.
