Gerald Trayler

Mr. Gerald Edward Trayler, age 75 of Marmaduke, Arkansas, passed away on February 13, 2017 at NEA Baptist Hospital in Jonesboro, Arkansas. Born September 18, 1941 in Lansing, Michigan, he was the son of the late William and Frances Stepp Trayler. Mr. Trayler was a member of the Christian Life Center in Brookland, Arkansas. He enjoyed raising cattle, and spending time with his family. He is survived by his wife: Marion Trayler of the home; three sons: Todd Trayler and wife Angela of Goldsboro, North Carolina, Stacy Trayler of Marmaduke, Arkansas, and Jason Trayler and wife Holly of Paragould, Arkansas; one daughter: Sharla Trayler-Piehler; one stepson: Kevin Wright and wife Mary of Lepanto, Arkansas; two stepdaughters: Dana Brown and husband Wayne of Jonesboro, Arkansas, and Tarra Nelms and husband Robert of Lepanto, Arkansas; one brother: Bernard Trayler of Paragould, Arkansas; eleven grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and four step-grandchildren; Mr. Trayler also leaves a host of other family and friends.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister: Shirlene Bryson; and one granddaughter: Ashley Villarreal.Funeral services will be Friday, February 17, 2017 at 2:00 pm at the Christian Life Center, with Rev. Scott Trayler officiating. Burial will follow in the New Friendship Cemetery in Paragould, Arkansas under the direction of Faith Funeral Service of Manila, Arkansas. The family will receive visitors Thursday, February 16, 2017 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at the church.
