Bennie Carter

Bennie Gordon Carter, age 68 of Paragould, Arkansas, passed away on February 19, 2017 at his home. Born August 10, 1948 in Paragould, he was the son of the late Miles and Essie Smith Carter. Mr. Carter proudly served our county in the United States Air Force for 24 years. He enjoyed 50 and 60s music, westerns, CSI movies, wood-working and working in the yard. He is survived by his wife of 22 years: Pam Carter of the home; three sons: Jason Weaver and wife Amy of Lafe, Arkansas, Michael Carter of New Jersey and Mark Carter and wife Oxana of Washington; one daughter: Stephanie Smith and husband Troy of Jonesboro, Arkansas; fourteen grandchildren: Austin Weaver, Conner Weaver, Mason Weaver, Kaylee Weaver, Luke Carter, Logan Carter, Gabby Carter, Daniel Cartter, Josephine Carter, Blake Gamble, Coby Gamble, Dillion Gamble, Nicholas Gamble and Brooke Williams; ten great-grandchildren: Alex, Aries, Jack, Woodrow, Atlas, Adonis, Sienna, Gracelynn, Cache and Kaedyn; three sisters: Dinah Lakey and husband Jr. of Michigan, Brenda Wright of Michigan and Gwen Titman of Michigan. Mr. Carter also leaves a host of other family and friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother: Chris Carter.The family has requested a private service and disposition under the direction of Faith Funeral Service of Manila, Arkansas.
