Carolyn Silk

Ms. Carolyn A. Silk, age 64 of Walnut Ridge, Arkansas, passed away Saturday, February 25, 2017 at Baptist Health Medical Center in North Little Rock, Arkansas. Born January 29, 1953 in Marshall, Texas, she was the daughter of the late J.G. and Billie Metcalf. Ms. Carolyn loved the outdoors, going shopping, and spending time with her children and grandchildren. She is survived by one son: Dustin Aird and wife Stephanie of Proctor, Arkansas; one daughter-in-law: Chaya Aird of Brookland, Arkansas; one stepson: Jimmy Silk and wife Jennie of Memphis, Tennessee; one stepdaughter: Melody Silk and husband Brian of Nashville, Tennessee. Ms. Silk also leaves nine grandchildren and a host of other family and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: James Silk; and two sons: Keith Russell and Douglas Aird; nine grandchildren; and a host of other family and friends. The family has requested a private service and disposition under the direction of Faith Funeral Service of Manila, Arkansas.
