Thomas Jerry Elrod

Mr. Thomas Jerry Elrod, 57, of Harrisburg, Arkansas passed away on Sunday, January 31, 2016 at St. Vincent’s Hospital, Little Rock, Arkansas. Mr. Elrod was born on October 27, 1958 in Trumann, Arkansas to the late Thomas Alton and Agnes Louise Blackston Elrod. Mr. Elrod was of the Pentecostal faith and enjoyed working on diesel engines and cars.Survivors include; one daughter: Autumn Lee Ann Dever and husband David of Harrison, Arkansas; four sisters: Carolyn Elrod of Harrisburg, Arkansas, Glenda Myers and husband Chuck of Jonesboro, Arkansas, Ellen Medeiros and husband John of Trumann, Arkansas, and Joyce Stockston and husband Randy of Marian, Arkansas; five grandchildren: David, Kaleb, Kaylee, Brooklynn, and Aryian Dever; and a host of other family and friends.Mr. Elrod was preceded in death by; his parents; one son: David Eric Thomas Elrod; one brother: Elliston Elrod; and one sister; Norma Lee Elrod.Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, February 3, 2016 at the First Assembly of God, 27654 West Main Ext., Trumann, Arkansas with Bro. Kenneth Doke officiating. Interment will follow at Bolivar Cemetery, Harrisburg, Arkansas under the direction of Faith Funeral Service. The family will receive visitors on Tuesday at the church from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm. Pallbearers: Anthony Dodd, Nathan Floyd, Jeffrey Campbell, Anthony McPhink, Ricky Goodwin, and Phillip Goodwin. Honorary pallbearers: Buddy Campbell and Dwayne Campbell.
