Kenneth Wayne Barnett

Kenneth Wayne Barnett, 76, of Jonesboro, Arkansas passed away on April 5, 2016 at St. Bernard’s Medical Center. He was born on July 21, 1939 in Trumann, Arkansas to the late Arnold Thomas and Ira Lena Johnson Barnett. Mr. Barnett was a member of Apple Hill Church of Christ and enjoyed watching westerns and spending time with his family.Survivors include; his wife of 50 years: Joyce Barnett of the home; three sons: David Schreier (Tammy) of Jonesboro, Arkansas, John Barnett (Sharlene) of Denton, North Carolina, and Dennis Barnett of Jonesboro, Arkansas; one daughter: Ashley Barnett (Justin Rickman) of Jonesboro, Arkansas; one brother: Jimmy Barnett (Linda) of Batesville, Arkansas; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and a host of other family and friends.Mr. Barnett was preceded in death by: his parents; one brother: Tharo Barnett; seven sisters: Madolyn Webb, Helen Ezell, Yvonne Crain, Myrtle V. Cagle, Edith Burgner, Velma Gray, and Kathryn Cain; and one grandson: Spencer Gilbert.A memorial service will be held at a later date. Faith Funeral Service in charge of arrangements.
