Barbara Elaine McCallister

Barbara Elaine McCallister was born on March 10th to Clyde and Christine Denham, in Jasper Arkansas and her life on Earth ended February 20th, 2016, in Memphis, Tennessee. After growing up and attending school in Yellville, Arkansas, she lived in Kennett, Missouri where she raised 4 children, Cindy Faucett, Michael Hollowell, Lisa Fuller (Johnson) of Hernando, Mississippi, and Courtney McCallister of Evansville, Indiana. Cindy and Michael both preceded her into eternity, as did her parents Clyde and Christine, her brother William Denham, her sister Gloria Denham Rohrer, and her granddaughter April Dawn, as well as several beautiful great-grandchildren. She missed them greatly and is already with them in the presence of our Lord. She leaves behind her daughters Courtney and Lisa, her son-in-law Justin Johnson, her grandchildren Josh Miller, Samantha Faucett Sebastian, Daniel Faucett, Christoffer Huggins, Jeremy Hussong, Amanda Hussong, and Michaya Johnson. She also leaves behind many great-grandchildren. Barbara was smart, hard-working, and fiercely independent. She took good care of her family. Anyone who was blessed to know her knows that she did things her way, no matter what. She was a Christian who knew that to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. We will forever mourn our great loss but she is forever rejoicing.To try and do things the way she would want, we will have a simple outside cemetery service in Campbell, Missouri, at Woodlawn Cemetery on Wednesday, February 24, 2016 at 1:00 pm with brother Steve Patton officiating. Faith Funeral Service is in charge of arrangements.
