Peggie Roselee Benham

Mrs. Peggie Roselee Benham, age 68 of Manila, Arkansas, passed away on February 20, 2015 at the St. Bernard’s Medical Center in Jonesboro, Arkansas. Born November 24, 1946 in Enola, Arkansas, she was the daughter of the late Jim and Lori Pate Ford and was of the Baptist faith. Mrs. Benham enjoyed watching wrestling, Sci-Fi and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is survived by her husband of 49 years: Bill Benham of the home; one son: Scott Benham of Gosnell, Arkansas; four daughters: Shannon Atkinson and husband Chuck of Leachville, Arkansas, Beverly Rountree and husband Michael of Manila, Arkansas, Jolene Watkins of Manila, Arkansas and Jessica Benham of the home; three sisters: Evelyn Wilson of Conway, Arkansas, Shirley Benham of Manila, Arkansas and Juanita Davis of Colorado; two brothers: John Ford of Little Rock and Elvin Ford “Buck” of Houston, Arkansas; ten grandchildren and five great-grandchildren and a host of other family and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers: Eldon Ford and Truman Ford. Funeral services will be Tuesday, February 24, 2015 at 2:00pm at the Brown’s Chapel Baptist Church in Manila, Arkansas with Pastor Gary Finley officiating. Burial will follow in the Leachville Cemetery under the direction of Faith Funeral Service of Manila, Arkansas. The family will receive visitors Tuesday, February 24, 2015 from 12:00pm until time of service at the church. Pallbearers will be Justin Benham, Clinton Nichols, Alex Atkinson, Chuckie Benham, Jerry Benham and Seth Edwards.
