Timothy Lynn Carr

Mr. Timothy Lynn Carr, 56, of Jonesboro, Arkansas passed away on Wednesday, February 25, 2015 at his home after a long battle with cancer. Mr. Carr was born on November 4, 1958 in Jonesboro, Arkansas to Robert Alvin and Ellen Holder Carr. Mr. Carr was of the Baptist faith, was an avid NASCAR fan, and enjoyed hunting and fishing. Survivors include; his mother: Ellen Gentry of Walnut Ridge, Arkansas; his wife: Gwen Carr of the home; four sons: Ricky Carr and wife Carrie of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, Gary Carr and wife Sara of Wichita, Kansas, Jason Jackson and wife Chyenne of Pocahontas, Arkansas, and Andrew Jackson and wife Ashley of Highland, Arkansas; two daughters; Anne Turner and husband Hutch of Colorado Springs, Colorado and Rachel Knowles and husband John of Neelyville, Missouri; one brother: Robert Alvin Carr, Jr. of Bono, Arkansas; four sisters: Loretta Dewitt of Indiana, Emma Nash of Louisiana, Ruby Ducote of Louisiana, and Lisa Case of Oklahoma; twenty seven grandchildren; one great grandchild; a friend as close as a brother: Blane Thetford of Jonesboro, Arkansas; and a host of other family and friends. Mr. Carr was preceded in death by his father: Robert Alvin Carr, Sr.; one brother Johnny Carr; and one sister Debbie Carr. Memorial service will be held at Cash Baptist Church on Thursday, February 5, 2015 at 2:00 pm at Cash Baptist Church with Rev. John Thomas officiating under the direction of Faith Funeral Service. Honorary pallbearers: Scott Carr, Bobby Joe Carr, Daniel Thetford, Charles Pratt, Blane Thetford, Roy Mace, and Derrick Carr.
