Roger Lynn Daggett

Mr. Roger Lynn Daggett, age 49 of Jonesboro, Arkansas, passed away February 26, 2015 at his home. Born July 23, 1965 in Manila, Arkansas, he was the son of Jim and Mildred Martin Sellers and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Caraway, Arkansas. Mr. Daggett was an avid outdoorsman and loved kayaking, canoeing, and being at Spring River. He is survived by his parents: Jim and Millie Sellers of Jonesboro, Arkansas; one daughter: Savannah Daggett of Paragould, Arkansas; one grandson: Lynnex Daggett of Paragould, Arkansas; one granddaughter: Lexanna Daggett of Paragould, Arkansas; one sister: Kim Marshall and husband Rob of Brookland, Arkansas; one niece: Emily Marshall; one nephew: Ryan Marshall; uncles: Veon Martin of Caraway, Arkansas, Paul “Von” Martin of Caraway, Arkansas, Carl Martin of Tyronza, Arkansas, Bobby Martin of Leachville, Arkansas; aunts: Shirley “Ann” Martin of Caraway, Arkansas, Patricia Humes of Caraway, Arkansas and Annie Weeks of Leachville, Arkansas. Mr. Daggett also leaves a host of other family and friends. Funeral services will be Sunday, March 1, 2015 at 2:30 at the First Baptist Church in Caraway, Arkansas with Rev. Rick Stevens officiating. Burial will follow in the Caraway Cemetery under the direction of Faith Funeral Service of Manila, Arkansas. The family will receive visitors Sunday, March 1, 2015 from 1:30pm until the time of service at the church. Pallbearers will be Jeff Martin, Don Fletcher, David Jeffers, Harvey Bowell, Les Wilkinson and Allen Puckett. Honorary pallbearers will be Lynn Pyland, Ken Martin, Greg Carmichael, Randy Martin, Rick Dollins and Caraway Central High School Class of 1983.

    I worked with Roger in Lake Village, AR. He was also in our wedding. Although it has been a while since I had talked to him I thought about him all the time. I loved Roger like a brother and I will miss him. To his family he was a great guy, friend, supervisor, and paramedic. The EMS community lost a great medic. I know he lived life to the fullest and I know he knew the bible. We Love you roger and we will miss you!!!
