Brenda Johnson

Ms. Brenda June Johnson, 59, of Paragould, Arkansas passed away on Saturday, February 8, 2014 at Twin Oaks Nursing Home in Jonesboro, Arkansas. Ms. Johnson was born on May 12, 1954 in Paragould, Arkansas to the late Jimmie Levi Franklin and June Lamay Lamb Mason. Ms. Johnson was studying to be one of Jehovah’s Witnesses, and she enjoyed visiting with family, coloring, horseback riding, eating out, shopping, music, westerns, Little House on the Prairie show and playing her guitar. Survivors include; two sons: James William Frost and wife Rosie of Paragould, Arkansas and Steve William Frost and wife Karri of Portage, Indiana; one daughter: Amy Amelia Kabage and husband Joe of Seymour, Missouri; four brothers: Jesse James Mason of Marmaduke, Arkansas, Alfred Joseph Mason of Rector, Arkansas, Johnny Allen Mason of Marmaduke, Arkansas, and Tony Ray Mason of Marmaduke, Arkansas; six sisters: Mary Catherine Mason of Corning, Arkansas, Lana Kay Henson of Paragould, Arkansas, Glenda Sharon Riggs of Paragould, Arkansas, Judy D. Haneline of Marmaduke, Arkansas, Maudie Louanna Moore of Corning, Arkansas, and Deborah Diane Mason of Paragould, Arkansas; ten grandchildren; and a host of other family and friends. Ms. Johnson was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers: Jimmie Franklin Mason and Samuel Eugene Mason. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, February 12, 2014 at 1:00 pm at Faith Funeral Service chapel. Interment will follow at Greene County Memorial Gardens, Paragould, Arkansas. The family will receive visitors at Faith Funeral Service on Wednesday from 10:00 am – 12:00 noon.
