Paulette Smith

Mrs. Paulette Smith, age 67 of Lake City, Arkansas, passed away Monday, April 18, 2016 at the NEA Baptist Hospital in Jonesboro, Arkansas. Born in Batesville, Arkansas, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Irene Henderson Wilson and was a longtime area resident. Mrs. Smith was a member at the Walnut Grove Missionary Baptist Church and was a retired registered nurse at the Lake Side Nursing Center. She enjoyed gardening, sewing and spending time with her kids and grandchildren. She is survived by her husband of 48 years: Mr. Jim Smith of the home; four sons: Bryan Smith and wife Sandy of Lake City, Arkansas, Michael Smith and wife Melissa of Lepanto, Arkansas, Anthony Smith and wife Jennifer of Lake City, Arkansas and Shaun Smith and wife Laura of Lake City, Arkansas; one sister: Sandra Kaye Vincent and husband Vernon of Lake City, Arkansas; eight grandchildren: Makayla, Taylor, Austin MacCray, Hannah, Max, Emmalee and Maggie Smith. Mrs. Smith also leaves a host of other family and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother: Max Wilson. Graveside services will be10:00a.m. Wednesday, April 20, 2016 at the Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery with Rev. Leon Harvey officiating. Faith Funeral Service of Manila, Arkansas is in charge of arrangements.
