Herman Riggs

Mr. Herman Marion Riggs, 95, of Paragould, Arkansas passed away on Sunday, February 9, 2014 at St. Bernards Medical Center, Jonesboro, Arkansas. Mr. Riggs was born on December 19, 1918 in Lake City, Arkansas to the late William and Mary Riggs. He was a lifelong farmer and former Dixie High School board member. Survivors include; his wife: Glenda Riggs of the home; three daughters: Barbara Cox of Paragould, Arkansas, Dorothy Jean Edwards of Paragould, Arkansas, and Patti Hale of Burdette, Arkansas; one son: Mike Riggs of Dallas, Texas; two step-daughters: June Stokes and Becky Dillard both of Paragould, Arkansas; two step-sons: Eddie Quinn, Jr. and Larry Quinn both of Paragould, Arkansas; twenty grandchildren; twenty-two great grandchildren; and a host of other family and friends. Mr. Riggs was preceded in death by his parents; his wife: Mary McCartney Riggs; one son: Robert Riggs; one daughter: Betty Sue Riggs. Graveside services will be held on Thursday, February 13, 2014 at 2:00 pm at Greene County Memorial Gardens, Paragould, Arkansas.
