Michael Dennis Taber

Rev. Michael Dennis Taber, 50, of Wynne, Arkansas, went to Heaven on Friday, February 22, 2013 at the Veterans Medical Center in Memphis, Tennessee. Brother Mike was born on August 2, 1962 in Jonesboro, Arkansas to the late Earnest “Buddy” Franklin and Ruby Mae Essary Taber. Brother Mike was the minister of many churches in North East Arkansas and his main goals in life was to make Heaven his home and sharing the message of salvation in Christ Jesus to everyone with whom he came into contact. He loved spending time with his wife, son, family and friends and ministering to others. He loved watching his son play baseball, watching wrestling, and having just that special father and son time. Survivors include: his wife of 28 years: Sherry Fritz Taber of the home; one son: Timothy (T-Man) Taber of the home; one sister: Marsha Bennett and Husband Ervin of Trumann, Arkansas; one brother: Roger “Dale” Taber and wife Karrie of Trumann, Arkansas; father in law and mother in law Charles and Wanza Fritz of Trumann. Brother Mike was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers: Frankie Taber and Gary Taber. A Homecoming Celebration will be held on Monday, February 25, 2013 at 2:00 pm at Trumann First Assembly of God, 27654 W. Main Ext., Trumann, Arkansas with Bro. Anthony Dowdy and Bro. Kenneth Doke officiating. Interment will follow at Vanndale Cemetery, Vanndale, Arkansas under the direction of Faith Funeral Service. The family will receive visitors on Sunday, February 24, 2013 from 5:00 – 8:00 pm at the church. Pallbearers: Timmy Davis, Mark Fagan, Scott Straver, Scott Cochran, Steve McMasters, Billy Bishop, and Mark Bishop.
