Phyllis Jean Traywick

Phyllis Jean (Marshall) Traywick, 78, of Paragould, Arkansas went home to be with the Lord on December 7th, 2018 after a short battle with cancer. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, sister and aunt to a large family and a dear friend to many. She loved her Lord and Savior and her church family at the Paragould Church of God. Everyone she met she impacted their lives in one way or another with her inspirational words in her journals and cards which she shared with everyone. Phyllis was born on March 12, 1940 in Paragould, Arkansas and graduated from Senath School in 1957. She worked at Emerson Electric in Kennett, Missouri and Southland School before retiring. She is survived by her husband: Bill Traywick of 60 years whom she married August 30, 1958; four daughters and spouses: Donna Rowland, Selena (Larry) Poynor, Nancy (Ron) Robinson and Janet Hale. She is also survived by 10 Grandkids: Scott Haggard, Amanda (Shane) Mikel, Natasha (Jeremy) Hawkins, Andrew (Krystal) Myrick, Lindsay (Jesse) Fry, Jeremy (Lauren) Cude, Garrett (Katie) Cude, Colton (Jamie) Hale, Diedra (Logan) Crossno and Aaron Summitt; 14 Great Grandkids: Logan Mikel, Ayden Qualls, Rylan Hawkins, Juddson Hawkins, Kember Myrick, Boone Myrick, Kaylyn Fry, Wyatt Fry, Mason Cude, Max Cude, Emmie Kate Cude, Jax Crossno, Lane Crossno and Aaron Summitt, Jr. She also leaves behind two sisters and their spouses: Gwenda (James) Godfrey, and Elaine (Jim) Marret; sister-in-law: Pat Marshall and a host of extended family and friends. Phyllis was preceded in death by her parents: Kyle and Audrey (Bost) Marshal; three brothers: Clinton (Sonny) Marshall, Gordon Wade Marshall and Claudie Dale Marshall; one niece: Lathan (Godfrey) Smith; two sons-in- laws: Jim Hale, and Randy Summitt; Grandkids: Mallory Hale and Steven Hale and three great grandkids. A short Memorial Service will be held Tuesday, December 11, 2018 at 5:30 p.m. and a Celebration of her life will follow until 8:00 p.m. at the Paragould Church of God. A private burial will be held at the Cardwell Cemetery at a later date.
