Arnold Sipes, Jr.

Arnold Sipes, Jr., 74 of Dyess, Arkansas passed away December 24, 2018 at St. Bernard’s Medical Center in Jonesboro, Arkansas. He was born November 22, 1944 in Dyess, Arkansas to Arnold and Margaret Stout Sipes. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, taking care of the Dyess Carwash, spending time with family and friends (especially, his grandchildren). Survivors include; his wife: Linda Sipes of the home; three daughters: Latisha (Larry) Russell, Tanya Sipes, Anissa Childress all of Dyess, Arkansas; one sister: Bonnie (Johnny) Prieto of Dyess, Arkansas; four grandchildren: Christin (Shawn) Mathews of Manila, Arkansas, Brittany Sipes of Dyess, Arkansas, Brooke and Bradley Childress of Joiner, Arkansas; one great grandson: Ryker Mathews of Manila, Arkansas; many nieces and nephews and a host of other family and friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by; one brother: Douglas Sipes. Services will be Friday, December 28, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at the Central Baptist Church of Dyess, Arkansas with Bro. Greg Smith officiating. Burial will follow at Potter’s Memorial Cemetery in Lepanto, Arkansas under the direction of Faith Funeral Service of Manila, Arkansas. The family will receive visitors Thursday, December 27, 2018 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the church. Pallbearers: Johnny Prieto, Jonathan Prieto, Timothy Prieto, Larry Russell, Robert Shempert, Shawn Mathews.
