Ann Lois Dawson

Ann Lois Dawson, 94, of Jonesboro, Arkansas passed away at Lawrence Hall Health and Rehabilitation on March 29, 2024 . She was born on July 14, 1929 in Williford, Arkansas to Robert and Marie (Davis) Fletcher. Ann was a member of the Valley View Church of Christ. She was a hard-working woman and someone with a strong will. She loved working in her yard, raising beautiful flowers, cooking, going to church and taking care of her multitude of pets and critters. She loved socializing with people, dressing up and going to church, and she thoroughly enjoyed “picking at” people she liked. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family. Survivors include; three children: Dennie Stokes (Lou) of Earle, Arkansas, Randy Stokes of Jonesboro, Arkansas, Annette Stokes of Jonesboro, Arkansas; five grandchildren: Tracey Stokes (Tracy) of Marion, Arkansas, Greg Stokes (April) of Marion, Arkansas, Jessica Stokes of Houston, Texas, Emilee Malone (Chris) of Jonesboro, Arkansas, Kristen Stokes of Marion, Arkansas; seven great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; two sisters: Eulala Whitaker of Jonesboro, Arkansas and Hazel Rogers of Jonesboro, Arkansas; three brothers: Boyce Ray Fletcher (Sandra) of Leachville, Arkansas, Jerry Fletcher of Jonesboro, Arkansas, Bobby Fletcher (Carolyn) of Trumann, Arkansas; and a host of other family and friends. She is preceded in death by; her parents; her husband: Bill Dawson; and one great grandchild: Charles Stokes. Honorary Pallbearers; her beloved grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, April 3, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at the Valley View Church of Christ in Jonesboro, Arkansas with minister Spencer Furby officiating. The family will receive visitors at the church from 10:00 a.m. until service time. Interment will follow at Crittenden Memorial Park in Marion, Arkansas under the direction of Faith Funeral Service. In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to the Valley View Church of Christ.
