Betty Sue Woods, 82, of Paragould, Arkansas passed away on March 19, 2024 at The Cottages of Belle Meade. She was born on December 18, 1941 in Paragould, Arkansas to Ezra and Opal (Jackson) Potter. Betty was a member of the Apostolic Lighthouse Church in Paragould, Arkansas. She enjoyed sitting on the front porch, looking at flowers and hummingbirds, playing games with friends, and spending time with her family. Survivors include; three sons: Robert Wayne Woods (Tammy) of Paragould, Arkansas, Wesley Dale Woods (Bonnie) of Gainesville, Arkansas, Charles Alan Woods (Sandy) of Paragould, Arkansas; one daughter: Rebecca Sue Cook (George) of Paragould, Arkansas; several grandchildren; great grandchildren; and a host of other family and friends. She is preceded in death by; her parents; loving husband: Robert Woods; one brother: Affie Potter; and two sisters: Lenora Farrar and Geneva Green. Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 22, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. at the Apostolic Lighthouse Church in Paragould, Arkansas with Bro. Jason Adams officiating. The family will receive visitors at the church from 1:00 p.m. until service time. Interment will follow at Harvey’s Chapel Cemetery in Marmaduke, Arkansas under the direction of Faith Funeral Service.
