George William Millsap

George William Millsap, 86, of Jonesboro, Arkansas passed away on March 15, 2024 at Ridgecrest Health and Rehabilitation Center. He was born on August 20, 1937 in Bono, Arkansas to Walter and Ruby (Thompson) Millsap. George was a member of the Valley View Church of Christ in Jonesboro, Arkansas. He enjoyed gardening, riding his motorcycle, playing guitar, and spending time with his grandchildren and family. Survivors include; three sons: Christopher William Millsap (Peggy) of Jonesboro, Arkansas, Danny Lynn Millsap (Jody) of Jonesboro, Arkansas, Timothy Lee Millsap (Michelle) of Jonesboro, Arkansas; two daughters: Brenda Hattenheur (Phil) of Jonesboro, Arkansas and Sharon Wallace (George) of Jonesboro, Arkansas; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; two brothers: Charles Millsap (Barbara) of Michigan and Michael Joe Millsap (Charlotte) of Jonesboro, Arkansas; and a host of other friends and family. He is preceded in death by; his parents; loving wife: Helen Jean Millsap; two brothers: Freddie Kenneth Millsap and Donnie Millsap; and two sisters: Audrey Earlene Millsap Snyder and Betty Jean Dobbs. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 21, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. at the Valley View Church of Christ in Jonesboro, Arkansas with Paul Wallis officiating. The family will receive visitors at the church from 12:00 p.m. until service time. Interment will follow at Trinity Cemetery in Bono, Arkansas under the direction of Faith Funeral Service. Pallbearers: Chris Millsap, Sr., Wesley Ballew, Tommy Snyder, Chris Millsap, Jr., Danny Millsap, and Derek Millsap. Honorary pallbearers: Brandon Combs, Phil Hattenheur, George Wallace, and Travis Wooten.
