Connie Suzette Cox Jones Macon

Mrs. Connie Suzette Cox Jones Macon, age 50, of Jonesboro, Arkansas passed away Wednesday, April 1, 2015 at her home. Born April 5, 1964 in Lynwood, California, she was the daughter of Gary and Linda Martin Cox. Mrs. Macon was of the Baptist faith and had graduated Greene County Tech School in 1982. She enjoyed being outdoors, horseback riding, cooking and loved music, especially Johnny Cash, and dancing.She is survived by her husband: Frank Allen Macon, Jr. of Jonesboro, Arkansas; mother and step-father: Gaylon and Linda Burns of Paragould, Arkansas; her step-mother: Gloria Cox of Paragould, Arkansas; four daughters: Stacy Howe Austin of Paragould, Arkansas, Hannah Jones of Paragould, Arkansas, Lauren Jones of Paragould, Arkansas and Holly Jones of Paragould, Arkansas; two step-brothers: Jimmy Burns of Paragould, Arkansas and Jerry Parker and wife Charlotte of Paragould, Arkansas; one step-sister: Christy Akin and husband Chris of Rector, Arkansas; two grandsons: Cash Austin and Barrett Austin both of Paragould, Arkansas; maternal grandparents: Charles and Inez McAlister of Paragould, Arkansas; and her uncle Charles “Robbie" McAlister of San Francisco, California.Mrs. Macon was preceded in death by her father: Gary Cox; one grand-daughter: Josie Austin and paternal grandparents: Ross and Laura Cox.Funeral services will be Tuesday, April 7, 2105 at 1:00 pm at the Finch Baptist Church in Paragould, Arkansas with Bro. Terry Gage officiating. Burial will follow in the Linwood Cemetery in Paragould, Arkansas under the direction of Faith Funeral Service of Manila, Arkansas. The family will receive visitors Monday, April 6, 2015 from 6 until 8:00 pm at the church.
