Jackie J. Faulkner, 88, of Caraway, Arkansas passed away peacefully in her home on Sunday, January 21, 2024. She was born on September 6, 1935 in Manila, Arkansas to Charlie and Della Saffell. She was of the Baptist faith and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Caraway, Arkansas. She enjoyed cooking, watching the cooking channel, doing yard work, sewing, and spending time with her family, which meant the world to her. Jackie grew up in Milligan Ridge, Arkansas. She married the love of her life, Vernon Faulkner, on March 9, 1952. In her younger years she enjoyed selling Tupperware. In the 1970s she started her own business known as Faulkner’s Tax Service. She ran the business out of her garage until she moved it to main street in Caraway in the 1990s. Survivors include; three sons: Charles Faulkner, Craig Faulkner, Kris Faulkner (Penny); two sisters: Zula Hoyle and Betty Langley; two brothers: Glenn Saffell and Jerry Saffell; ten grandchildren: Shane West (Harmony), Jeremy Faulkner, Kenna Faulkner, Jason West (Candice), Jamie Faulkner (Erin), Starla Emery (Michael), Justin Faulkner (Whitney), Whitney Funderburk (Brandon), Kelsey Garland (John), Kane Faulkner (Lauren); twenty great grandchildren: Ethan West, Lily West, Haydn Gregory (Garrett), Regan West, Riley West, Mason Emery, Maggie Emery, Drake Faulkner, Dawson Faulkner, Holland Davis, Kamreigh Kirk, Mahaleigh Faulkner, Judd Faulkner, Logan Funderburk, Eli Funderburk, Katie Funderburk, Layla Faulkner, Lucas Faulkner Jackson Faulkner, Augustus Faulkner; one great grandchild: Ava Gregory; and a host of other family and friends. She is preceded in death by; her parents; her husband: Vernon Faulkner; one son: Kenneth Faulkner; and two brothers: Bobby Saffell and Douglas Saffell. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, January 26, 2024 at the Caraway First Baptist Church at 2:00 p.m. with Bro. Rick Stevens officiating. The family will receive visitors at the church from 12:00 p.m. until service time. Interment will follow at the Caraway Cemetery in Caraway, Arkansas under the direction of Faith Funeral Service. Honored to serve as pallbearers will be: Jeremy Faulkner, Jamie Faulkner, Justin Faulkner, Michael Emery, John Garland, and Garrett Gregory. Honorary pallbearers: her beloved grandsons.
