Bobby,Lori, and family. So sorry to hear of Evelyn’s passing. You were so blessed to have her. I had a lot of good laughs with her as she came to visit with mom. Now she and mom will be watching the cardinals together again. Thanks for sharing your mom with us all these years. She was definitely a gem. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.

  5. Shelly Davenport, Jonesboro says

Anyone who knew Eb knew she didn’t like being bossed around. Her red head, along with her stubborn ways, will always be forever etch in my memory. She had a sassy mouth and would tell you in a minute what she thought. They say folks with red hair have tempers, well she was living proof. If you dared messed with one of her family members, she would come out a fighting. Especially her “Grands”. She had a hard life, but through it all, she held that pretty red head up and went on a “steppin”. No words cannot express my gratitude and love for this woman. She has done so much for me and at times gave her very last dime to make sure we had food on our table. If she loved you, she would give you everything she had if you were in need. Unselfish to the end. I loved her and will always remember, a phrase she said to me from the very beginning, “ You put a load in my gun”. I’ll see you soon Ebby! Love, Shelly

  6. Wanda, Little Rock says

Evelyn was a sweet lady she will be missed. I loved her and would’ve done the world for her. May she now rest in peace
