As a youngster living in California, my family would visit Caraway every couple years to visit relatives during the 4th of July holiday. Going to the drugstore, Ms. Grace would always greet me and call me by my name. Even as a boy, I was impressed and amazed that she would demonstrate such keen interest in people. I’ve never forgotten the impression she made on me. I offer my prayers to Ms. Grace’s family and friends as well as her church family.

I worked with Grace at Liberty Bank (Midsouth Bank) for 10 years. She was very special and kind to all. She always had a way of making you feel good about yourself. She and I shared a love for all animals. We shared stories everyday of what shenanigans our precious pets had been up to! She was such a special person. So sad to hear this news, but I know she is at peace now.
