William Wathen Prewitt, III.

William Wathen Prewitt, III. 83, of Jonesboro, Arkansas passed away at Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House on November 27, 2023. He was born on April 26, 1940 in Osceola, Arkansas to William Wathen Prewitt, II. And Evelyn (Taylor) Prewitt. William was a member of the St. Timothy Anglican Church. He enjoyed going to church, photography, and collecting model trains. Survivors include; loving wife of 22 years: Linda Prewitt of the home; two sons: William Wathen Prewitt, IV. Of New Mexico and John Prewitt of Fayetteville, Arkansas; two granddaughters; one grandson; two grandchildren: Tessa Greenway and Winry Posey of the home; and a host of other family and friends. He is preceded in death by; his parents: William Wathan Prewitt, II. And Evelyn (Taylor) Prewitt; and multiple siblings. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 2, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at the St. Timothy Anglican Church with Father Tom officiating. In lieu of flowers the family ask to kindly make donations to the St. Timothy Anglican Church.
