Byron Curtis Rogers, Jr.

Mr. Byron Curtis Rogers, Jr., 90 passed away Sunday, December 11, 2016 at Morningside of Jonesboro. He was born August 29, 1926 in Jonesboro, Arkansas to the late Byron Curtis, Sr. and Metta Adams. Mr. Rogers served in the United States Navy, enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening and was a deep thinker. Survivors include: his wife: Ella Mae Rogers; one son: Byron Curtis Rogers III (Connie) of Mammoth Springs, Arkansas; two daughters: Angela (Dan) Dacus of Jonesboro, Arkansas; Rita (Randy) Johnson of Jonesboro, Arkansas; two brothers: Johnny Mack (Betty) Rogers of Jonesboro, Arkansas; James F. Rogers of Jonesboro, Arkansas; many grandchildren and great grandchildren and a host of other family and friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son: James Norman Rogers; and two sisters: Betty Lands, and Jean Frances Rogers. Memorial Service for family and friends will be held in the Chapel at First Baptist Church in Jonesboro, Arkansas Friday, December 16, 2016 at 1:00p.m. Faith Funeral Service, Manila, Arkansas will be in charge of the service.
