Larry Don Riley
August 8, 1970 - November 12, 2023

Larry Don Riley, 53, of Paragould, Arkansas passed away on November 12, 2023 at his apartment in Paragould after a 5-month battle with cancer. Larry was born on August 8, 1970 in Lepanto, Arkansas to Paul Riley and Geneva Files. Survivors include; one brother: David Riley of Lafe, Arkansas; one sister: Betty (Randy) Files of Monette, Arkansas; and a host of other family and friends. He is also survived by a church family who loved and cared for him. He is preceded in death by; his parents: Paul Riley and Geneva Files; and one brother: Paul Riley. Larry was a member of the New Life Fellowship Church in Paragould, Arkansas. He enjoyed going to church and he was always inviting others to join him in church. Larry’s life was drastically changed in August 2015 when he went to work for Ralph Oglesby Concrete Pumping. Soon after that, Ralph invited Larry to attend church with him and on October 4, Larry visited New Life Fellowship for the very first time. That was a good decision, but the best decision Larry ever made was a few weeks later when he accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior. He wanted everyone to know about the change God had made in his life and so he was baptized on December 13, 2015. For the next 8 years Larry was a faithful member of New Life Fellowship Church who very seldom missed a Sunday. He also spent the next 8 years working for Ralph Oglesby Concrete Pumping where he was known and loved by his fellow workers as a born-again believer and a very hard and very dependable worker. In his spare time Larry loved to walk his dog, Lucy, and Larry also enjoyed spending time alone. A celebration of Larry’s life will be held on Saturday, December 2, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at the New Life Fellowship Church in Paragould, Arkansas with Bro. Danny Johnson officiating.
