Bertha Lucille Copeland

Bertha Lucille Copeland, 70, of Manila, Arkansas passed away on September 22, 2023 at the Manila Nursing Home. She was born on November 4, 1952 in Manila, Arkansas to William and Lucille Baugus. She was a member of Carroll’s Corner Church and she was a respiratory therapist for Blytheville and Osceola Hospitals. She enjoyed coloring, working puzzles, and spending time with her family. Survivors include; one daughter: Brandy Copeland of Kennett, Missouri; four sisters: Linda Hancock, Mary Sue Lee, Joann Baugus, and Cindy Childress all of Manila, Arkansas; and a host of other family and friends. She was preceded in death by; her parents: William and Lucille Baugus; her husband: Bobby Copeland, Sr.; one son: Bobby Copeland, Jr.; one brother: Doug Baugus; and one sister: Faye Edwards. Pallbearers: Tony Stone, Justin Daniel, Tyler Lewis, Jesse Thomas, Audie Russell, and Mark Wheeler. Funeral services will be held at Carroll’s Corner Church on Tuesday, September 26, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. with Brother Clurman Strickland officiating. Burial will follow at Caraway Cemetery, Caraway, Arkansas under the direction of Faith Funeral Service. The family will receive visitors at the church on Tuesday from 1:00 p.m. until service time.
