Bertha Jane Crabtree

Mrs. Bertha Jane Crabtree, 81, a lifelong Manila, Arkansas resident, passed away on Friday, April 3, 2015 at St. Bernards Medical Center. Mrs. Crabtree was born on March 2, 1934 in Thida, Arkansas to the late Robert Allen and Laura Jane Nolan Davidson. Mrs. Crabtree was of the Baptist faith, enjoyed riding around, coon hunting, rooster fighting, and spending time with family and friends.Survivors include: two daughters: Lovetta Freeman of Manila, Arkansas and Vanessa Shirley of Monette, Arkansas; two brothers: Leevon Davidson of Bald Knob, Arkansas and R. A. Davidson of Manila, Arkansas; nine grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; seven great great grandchildren; and a host of other family and friends.Mrs. Crabtree was preceded in death by: her parents; her husband: Jimmy Sherwood; three sons: Keith Crouse, Eddie Crouse, and Marty Smith; two daughters: Susan Crouse and Charla Langston; two brothers: Arvol and Lonnie Davidson; three sisters: Audrey Butler, Ludeen Ward, and Lautella Weatherford.Memorial services will be held on Saturday, April 11, 2015 at 11:00 am at Faith Funeral Service Chapel in Manila, Arkansas.
