Rebecca Leen Scrape Hinds

Rebecca Leen Scrape Hinds, 72, of Bay, Arkansas passed away at her home on September 19, 2023. She was born on August 6, 1951 in Belle Glade, Florida to Forrest Wesley Scrape and Dortha Mae Neal Scrape. Rebecca was a Christian. She was an avid seamstress who enjoyed canning, crocheting, traveling, gardening, and spending time with her family. Survivors include; husband: William Oliver Hinds of the home; one daughter: Lori Michelle Taber Tedder (Randy) of Littleton, North Carolina; two step sons: Willliam Oliver Hinds, Jr. (Pam) of Choctaw, Arkansas and Joe Derrick Hinds (Denise) of Neosho, Missouri; one step daughter: Staci McVay (Wade) of Searcy, Arkansas; one brother: James Michael Scrape (Velma) of Heber Springs, Arkansas; two sisters: Sandra Kay Navert of Austin, Texas and Donna Gay Dunn of Jonesboro, Arkansas; five grandchildren: Ashley Starling, Amber House (Brandon), Jake Starling, Lacey Taber, and Katelyn Taber; eight great grandchildren; eight step grandchildren; eight step great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews: and a host of other family and friends. She is preceded in death by; her parents: Forrest Wesley Scrape and Dortha Mae McCarty; late husband: James Franklin Taber, Sr.; one son: James Franklin Taber; one stepson: Nathan Hinds; one grandson: Jacob Matthew Taber; three brothers: Robert Scrape, Thomas Scrape and Wesley Scrape; and four sisters: Minnie Thigpen, Peggy Scrape, Linda Sue Hill, and Marsha Scrape. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 23, 2023 at 1:30 p.m. at Faith Funeral Service in Manila, Arkansas with Randy Tedder officiating. The family will receive visitors that want to celebrate Rebeccas life from 12:00 p.m. until service time.
