Wanda Lee Lackey, 78, of Manila, Arkansas passed away at St. Bernards Medical Center on September 11, 2023. She was born on August 3, 1945 in San Bernardino, New Mexico to Johnny Story and Opal Juantia Durbin. Wanda was a long-time homemaker and a great mother; she enjoyed playing bingo, and going to dances. Survivors include; two daughters: Deborah Phillips of Manila, Arkansas and Shawnda Phillips of Manila, Arkansas; one sister: Mary Davis of Crump, Tennessee; one half-sister: Lisa Coleman of Jonesboro, Arkansas; one brother: Donnie Gene Story of Florida; four grandchildren: Brooklyn Slankerd, Addisyn Slankerd, Liam Slankerd, and Justin Phillips; special friend: Leon Bratton of Halfmoon, Arkansas; and a host of other family and friends. She is preceded in death by; her parents: Johnny Story and Opal Rash; loving husbands: Bobby Junior Phillips and Tony Lackey; one son: Bobby Allen Phillips; one daughter: Rhonda Phillips; and one granddaughter: Wanda Parker. The family has requested private arrangements under the direction of Faith Funeral Service.
