Rhonda Loyd
January 11, 1964 - June 20, 2023

Rhonda Loyd, age 59, passed from this life on Tuesday, June 20, 2023. She was born in California on January 11, 1964 to James and Ruth Ella Cox, but grew up in Paragould, Arkansas. Her father at that time was Sheriff of Greene County, so there were many stories that could be told of her growing up years. Rhonda was a loving wife, and mother who loved spending vacations in Florida, buying Christmas gifts for everyone, and watching Court TV. She would love the attention, comments and love shown by family and friends. Rhonda was a member of the Heartland Pentecostal Church of God in Gosnell, Arkansas. Her faith in Christ was filled with all of the vitality and wonder of a new convert who experienced ‘the new creation’ that faith in Jesus brings. We would all do well to be so childlike in our faith, not perfect, but grateful like Rhonda was after experiencing the grace of God. Rhonda’s smile could light up a room and she had the rare quality of telling you how she felt, so when she said something, you knew it came from an honest and sincere heart. Her heart was so full of emotion it sometimes spilled out. Mostly onto her husband, Ron, and son, Kason, but also onto anyone in earshot. She will be missed but never forgotten. Survivors include; her husband: Ron Loyd of Blytheville, Arkansas whom she met in 2015, and later married on October 4, 2019; her children: Tara Sidenstricker of Gosnell, Arkansas, Derrick Lenderman (Brooke) of Brazil, Indiana, Kason Loyd of the home; step-children: Josh Loyd (Linda) of Blytheville, Arkansas, Tina Vaughn (Mark) of Paragould, Arkansas; one grandson: Graden Fender of Pocahontas, Arkansas; step-grandchildren: Adam Loyd, Anna Loyd, Emily Loyd, Amber Malone (Parker), Jasmine Herring (Zachary), and Issac Smith; one great grandson: Colton Malone; one brother: Gary Cos (Michelle) of Piggott, Arkansas; and a host of other family and friends. Rhonda is preceded in death by; her parents: James and Ruth Ella Cox; and her sister: Debbie Schug. A celebration of life will be held at a later date, which will be published when known.
