Thomas Kirk Gearhart

Thomas Kirk Gearhart, 78, of Jonesboro, Arkansas passed away at Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House on May 3, 2023. He was born on March 30, 1945 in Pocahontas, Arkansas to Leo Gearhart and Alva Kirk Gearhart. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Jonesboro, Arkansas for many years. He enjoyed jogging, reading, camping at Bull Shoals, and spending time with his family. Survivors include; loving wife of 50 years: Marie Gearhart of the home; one daughter: Sarah Gearhart of Jonesboro, Arkansas; two sisters: Janis Borden of Jonesboro, Arkansas and Jill Boyles (Jerry) of Claremore, Oklahoma; two brothers: Wayne Gearhart (Carolyn) of Pocahontas, Arkansas and Jim Gearhart (Linda) of Piggott, Arkansas; one sister-in-law: Carolyn Gearhart of Jonesboro, Arkansas; many cherished nieces and nephews including Chrissy King (Matt) of Little Rock, Arkansas whom he considered to be a second daughter; and a host of other family and friends. He is preceded in death by; his parents: Leo Gearhart and Alva Kirk Gearhart; and three brothers: Joe Gearhart, Leon Gearhart, and Terry Gearhart. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, May 13, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. at the First Baptist Church in Reyno, Arkansas with Pastor Roger Hovis officiating. In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to the First Baptist Church in Reyno, Arkansas.
